Server Thermal Principal Engineer Mechanical Engineering leads and delivers the development of innovative and compliant mechanical design solutions, as well as cross-functional interfaces for desktop, portable and server computer systems and peripherals. Our team conducts the analysis, feasibility studies and testing of mechanical products, instruments, subassemblies and packaging for new and existing products – and then oversees the introduction of design changes to the manufacturing organizations.

What you’ll achieve As a Server Thermal Principal Engineer , you will be responsible for Develop and implement both air cooling and liquid cooling thermal solutions for server products through engaging with all stakeholders, such as architecture, cross-functional teams, ODMs, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

You will: Optimize thermal solution and thermal control design to deliver best in class server products. Conduct assessment for product feature and segment requirement associating with total thermal solution Triage issue and drive the root cause out. Be proactively collaborated with other teams and provide comprehensive deliverables Participate the key initiatives to improve daily job and maximize portfolio benefit Be in charge of portfolio tasks and assignment Closely engage with global thermal and acoustic teams and participate discussion and cooperation.

Essential Requirements

Bachelor or master degree in Mechanical/Thermal Engineering. 10+ years working experience as a system thermal R&D engineer or a cooling solution R&D engineer. Experience in liquid cooling design experience. Excellent communication and presentation skill Good or fluent in English. English presentation is required Capability of data analysis, root cause analysis, and issue triage Capability of CAE/simulation tool and empirical tests Desirable Requirements Logical and critical thinking Personality: Optimism, passion, integrity, and hungry to learn
