Responsibilities

Unit Data Owner and coordinator, incl. coordination of all unit data governance related tasks. Responsible on unit business data visualization, incl. business dashboard iteration, data maintenance, new dashboard development, unit data-mart maintenance. Support to prepare financial outlooks and forecasts to provide a clear view of business status to assist in driving the business. Perform analysis on product and/or customer portfolio to proactively identify business characteristics, key trends and risk profiles.

Work with COO on business planning and budgeting process. Designing rich data visualizations to communicate complex ideas to senior management. Partner with product teams, and fellow engineers to understand their data and analytics needs and design/publish dashboards and reporting that allow them to execute more effectively. Build/maintain data models & ETL pipelines for getting, processing, and delivering data that will make DBS more data driven.

Work with various cross functional teams like IT and Data Management team to troubleshoot the tech issues during the data ETL process. Run ad-hoc queries & exploratory data analyses that lead to actionable insights and/or forms basis for advanced analytical experiments. Become an expert on all aspects of DBS's big data infrastructure. Investigating/researching new concepts/technologies and their impact on the future of transaction banking.

Education and Relevant Experience Bachelor or above. Degree holder preferably in Computer Science, Math and Statistics or related discipline with at least 7 years of relevant working experience in Data Analytics or Business Management. Experience in banking industry will be preferred but not a must. Good command of written and spoken English.
