Responsibilities

Evaluate and appraise gold ornaments accurately for purity and value to determine loan eligibility. Process and disburse gold loan applications in accordance with bank policies and regulatory guidelines. Deliver excellent customer service to walk-in clients, addressing inquiries and facilitating smooth loan transactions. Ensure safe custody and secure storage of gold ornaments and related documentation. Monitor loan portfolios, manage renewals, and follow up on overdue accounts for timely recovery.

Cross-sell other consumer banking products and services to meet branch distribution targets. Maintain high standards of operational integrity, compliance, and risk management.

Requirements

Proven experience in gold appraisal, valuation, and gold loan processing within a financial institution or retail lending environment. Strong understanding of gold purity testing methods and market valuation standards. Demonstrated customer service and relationship management skills. High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail in handling physical assets and financial transactions. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven branch environment.
