Job description

In Group Technology, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

Design and build advanced, secure, and scalable applications for the iOS platform within Consumer Banking Technology. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, UX/UI, and Backend Engineers, to define, design, and ship new features. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, adhering to industry best practices and security standards. Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and system vulnerabilities. Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers to maintain high code quality. Keep up-to-date with the latest iOS trends, technologies, and Apple guidelines to continuously improve application performance.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Proven professional experience in iOS application development, with a strong portfolio of released applications in the App Store. Deep understanding of Swift, Objective-C, Cocoa Touch, and iOS frameworks. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services. Knowledge of Apple’s design principles and application interface guidelines.

Experience with modern mobile architectures, such as MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture. Proficiency with code versioning tools, such as Git, and mobile CI/CD pipelines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in an agile environment.
