Job Summary

Completes troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance on chassis products in a service workshop independently while coaching and developing less experienced technicians We are looking for a talented Chassis Technician to join our Distribution business in (Coburg, OR). + Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting,maintenance,andcomplexrepairsonchassisandrelatedvehiclesystems. + Completepreventativemaintenanceandinspectionsonchassiscomponentstoensureequipmentreliabilityandperformance. + Utilizeelectronicdiagnostictools,servicemanuals,andothertechnicalresourcestoaccuratelyidentifyandresolveissues. + Completeservicedocumentation,workorders,warrantyclaims,andrepairrecordsaccuratelyandtimely. + Coachandsupportjuniortechniciansandapprenticesbysharingtechnicalknowledgeandbestpractices. + Maintainaclean,safe,andorganizedworkarea,tools,andequipment. + AdheretoCumminsHealth,Safety&Environmentalpoliciesandprocedureswhilepromotingastrongsafetyculture. + Participateinongoingtraininganddevelopmenttomaintainandexpandtechnicalskills.

In order to be succesful in this role you will need the following: + Advancedknowledgeandexperiencewithchassissystems,diagnostics,repair,andmaintenance. + Abilitytoperformcomplextroubleshootingandrepairsusingelectronicservicetoolsanddiagnosticsoftware. + Strongunderstandingofelectrical,mechanical,fuel,cooling,exhaust,aftertreatment,driveline,andcontrolsystems. + Experiencedocumentingrepairs,diagnostics,andmaintenanceactivitiesinservicemanagementsystems. + Abilitytoprovideguidance,coaching,andtechnicalsupporttolessexperiencedtechnicians. + Strongcommunication,customerservice,andteamworkskills. + Commitmenttosafety,quality,andcontinuousimprovement. + Vocationaldiplomafromarelevanttechnicalinstitutionpreferred. + Validdriver'slicenserequired. + CDLmayberequireduponhire.FederallawrequiresCDLholderstobeatleast21yearsofage. + ApprenticeTrainedTechniciancertificationpreferred.

Work well in a team environment, - A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire - Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older

Education, Licenses, Certifications

Apprentice Trained Technician (Preferred). Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution. Locally valid driving permit This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Advanced level knowledge of and/or experience with chassis products Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred)

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
