Role Purpose

As a Financial Analyst, you will support the plant’s financial processes by helping ensure accurate reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and strong internal controls.

This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to analyze expenses, support closing activities, prepare reconciliations, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly and periodic closing activities, including journal entries, variance analysis, and general ledger accuracy
• Prepare account reconciliations, financial reports, and quarterly reporting packages in a timely and accurate manner
• Help maintain compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, GAAP principles, and company policies
• Partner with Finance, Operations, and Engineering to support cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives Experiences/Education - Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance Basic knowledge of US GAAP and financial controls Experience with SAP, as well as strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with different stakeholders, including plant leadership

Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications.
