3 Days Hybrid from any of our locations in RI, Iselin NJ, MA, Pittsburgh PA, Dallas TX or Phoenix AZ Role is not relocation eligible. Description We are seeking an experienced Principal Cloud Network Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the design, deployment, and management of secure, standardized, and automated infrastructure across multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud environments. This position is critical for enabling seamless connectivity between compute resources across public and hybrid-cloud, driving innovation, and enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and deploy cloud networks in AWS and Azure , ensuring CFG’s design principles

• Design and implement hybrid-cloud environment utilizing Spine-Leaf architecture
• Manage and optimize hybrid-cloud connectivity via AWS Direct
• Connect and Azure ExpressRoute .
• Drive the product vision for a Multi-Cloud environment, ensuring a secure and repeatable network infrastructure
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, utilizing tools like Terraform and Ansible
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and integrate feedback into the product lifecycle
• Create documentation and deliver knowledge-sharing presentations to help team members and internal customers
• Troubleshoot networking and security issues and participate in a tier 3 on-call rotation Qualifications, Education and Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in network architecture or cloud services, with a focus on cloud networking and security
• Proficiency in AWS and Azure native networking and security constructs Experience in the design and deployment of Aviatrix multi-cloud platform is a plus Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Harness and Ansible
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira Experience in IP Networking (e.g., Spine and Leaf Architecture , routing , switching, IPsec, VRFs ).

Strong knowledge of network monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch , Azure Monitor , CloudTrail , VPC Flow Logs, and Splunk . Proficiency in using network troubleshooting tools ( Wireshark , tracert , NetMon ). Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Advanced Networking or Azure Network Engineer Associate or Aviatrix ACE Professional or CCIE RS #Li-Citizens1 Pay Transparency ‌The salary range for this position is $123,200 – $184,800 per year, plus an opportunity to earn additional incentive earnings (if applicable).
