Job description

• Handle marine claims efficiently and effectively in accordance with company’s guidelines
• Closely monitor and follow up outstanding claims and payments
• Promptly identify and procure recovery
• Communicate with policy holders, intermediaries and service providers to provide high quality claims services to customers
• Provide general administrative support to the team head
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
• Degree holder preferably in insurance or shipping/logistics discipline
• At least 3 years of marine claims handling experience
• Customer-oriented, attentive to details and able to meet tight deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, self-motivated and willing to work hard and learn
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
• Proficiency in computer skills including MS Windows, Word and Excel, etc.
