About the Role

CBRE islooking for a facility Maintenance Technician at a large facility in Schaumberg, IL who will take pride in keeping buildings running likeclockwork. If you’re hands-on, reliable, and ready to grow, we want to hearfrom you! CBRE is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician toperform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on building systemsincluding mechanical and electrical components.

This role supports energyefficiency, ensures compliance with safety codes, and assists with equipmentinstallations and modifications. Ideal candidates have basic mechanicalexperience, strong organizational skills, and the physical ability to handlemanual tasks in a fast-paced environment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Servicesjob function. They are responsible for providing support, preventivemaintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

Microsoft Office products

• Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and manage work orders through a CMMS.

The minimum salary for the Maintenance Technician position is $24.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the Maintenance Technician position is $27.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
