About the

Role

As a CBRE Mobile HVAC Technician , you will provide mobile maintenance and repair services across a portfolio of facilities supporting a major telecommunications client. This highly independent role is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys variety in their workday, solving technical challenges, and delivering exceptional service to customers. This position is part of CBRE's Engineering and Technical Services team, which delivers preventive maintenance, repairs, and operational support for critical building systems.

You will primarily focus on commercial HVAC equipment, including rooftop units (RTUs), while also performing light plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance tasks. What You'll Do + Performpreventivemaintenance,troubleshooting,andrepairsoncommercialHVACsystems,withaprimaryfocusonrooftopunits(RTUs)andrelatedequipment. + Travelbetweenassignedsitesusingacompany-providedservicevehicletosupportaportfoliooftelecommunicationsfacilities. + Diagnoseandrepairmechanical,electrical,andbuildingsystemissuestomaximizeequipmentreliabilityandperformance. + Completelightplumbing,electrical,andgeneralmaintenancetasksasneededtosupportfacilityoperations. + Reviewassignedworkorders,identifyrequiredmaterials,estimaterepairtimes,anddocumentworkperformed. + Inspectequipmentandbuildingsystemstoensurecompliancewithsafetyregulations,buildingcodes,andcompanystandards. + Supportenergyefficiencyinitiativesbyidentifyingopportunitiestoimprovesystemperformanceandreduceoperatingcosts. + Assistwiththeinstallation,modification,andimprovementofbuildingequipmentandsystems. + Communicateeffectivelywithclients,teammembers,andmanagementregardingmaintenanceactivities,repairstatus,andoperationalconcerns. + Maintainaccurateservicerecordsandensureallworkiscompletedsafely,professionally,andonschedule.

What You'll Need + HighSchoolDiploma,GED,ortradeschooldiplomawith1-2yearsofrelatedexperience.Inlieuofadiploma,acombinationofeducationandexperiencewillbeconsidered. + Validdriver'slicensewiththeabilitytooperateacompanyservicevehicle. + ExperienceservicingcommercialHVACsystems,includingtroubleshootingandrepairingrooftopunits(RTUs). + Workingknowledgeofbuildingmechanical,electrical,andplumbingsystems. + Abilitytoreadandinterpretworkorders,equipmentdocumentation,andtechnicalinformation. + Strongtroubleshootingandproblem-solvingskillswithacustomer-focusedmindset. + BasicproficiencywithMicrosoftOfficeapplications,includingOutlook,Excel,andWord. + Abilitytoorganizeandprioritizeworkindependentlyacrossmultiplelocations. + Abilitytofollowestablishedproceduresandsafetyprotocols. + Physicalabilitytostand,walk,climbladders,workinvaryingenvironmentalconditions,andlift/carryupto50poundsormore.
