About the Role
As a Senior Workplace and Facilities Operations Analyst, you will serve as the primary onsite workplace operations contact for assigned New York and New Jersey locations. You will support daily workplace services, partner experience, free-address operations, space and occupancy coordination, facilities inspections, and service-request follow-up. You will work closely with the CBRE Facilities Manager, building management, service providers, office leadership, and client stakeholders to help ensure workplace and facilities matters are properly documented, coordinated, escalated, and resolved.
This is a multi-site workplace operations role with facilities coordination responsibilities. Technical building matters, vendor contracts, significant expenditures, regulatory and life-safety decisions, and responsibilities requiring specialized facilities expertise remain with the CBRE Facilities Manager or designated subject-matter experts.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary onsite contact for day-to-day workplace operations and partner experience needs across assigned locations.
- Support free-address operations, including seating, reservations, guest accommodations, locker issues, and related escalations.
- Coordinate occupancy audits, space information, seating plans, and approved workplace changes.
- Conduct routine workplace inspections and identify concerns related to cleanliness, safety, functionality, and service delivery.
- Initiate approved service requests, document issues, monitor progress, and communicate status through resolution.
- Coordinate with the CBRE Facilities Manager, building management, vendors, and service providers to address workplace and facilities concerns.
- Escalate technical, safety, security, regulatory, environmental, life-safety, financial, or recurring service issues to the appropriate responsible party.
- Support planned maintenance, repairs, moves, workplace improvements, and other operational activities through scheduling, communication, access coordination, and onsite follow-up.
- Facilitate visits for internal leaders, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate workplace engagement activities and onsite event logistics.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, occupancy information, service requests, escalations, and completed actions.
- Provide routine operational updates to CBRE Facilities Management and client stakeholders.
What You’ll Need
- Two to five years of relevant experience. A combination of education and directly related experience may be considered.
- Experience in workplace operations, facilities coordination, office management, hospitality, property operations, or a similar client-service environment.
- Experience supporting multiple locations is preferred.
- Familiarity with service requests, work orders, vendor coordination, workplace inspections, occupancy management, or free-address workplace environments is preferred.
- Strong client-service, communication, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Sound judgment and the ability to distinguish routine operational matters from issues requiring technical, safety, financial, regulatory, or management escalation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and follow issues through resolution.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and relevant workplace systems.
- Ability to travel between assigned locations as required. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience.
