Role Definition Primary financial and accounting support for a focus facility or business unit team; providing business analysis, cost analysis, financial counsel, and strategic planning/analysis support to the Management Team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with business unit planning for upper level management, including facility manager and business unit manager.
• Cost and investment analysis for upper level management (i.e. plant rates, ROI, Pricing and Make/Buy studies).
• Involved in consensus decision-making regarding the facility and/or business being supported.
• Responsible for routine monthly reporting including profit center results and Rolling Business Management (RBM) as well as annual business processes, including the business plan, and executive reviews.

Planning

Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.

Decision Making and Critical Thinking

Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Effective Communications

Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Organizational Leadership

Knowledge of leadership concepts and ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives.

Cost-Benefit Analysis

Knowledge of the principles and tools used in cost-benefit analysis; ability to analyze the purpose and scope of a producer, product, process, or project in terms of cost and benefits.

Financial Analysis

Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

Financial Forecasting and Modeling

Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques of financial forecasting and modeling; ability to explore and evaluate alternative financial scenarios and results. This position requires working onsite five days a week. Relocation is available for this position.
