40 Location: Utrecht / hybrideExperience: Medior/SeniorWhat will you do as an IT & Telco Procurement BuyerYou will be part of the IT & Telco procurement category for the BNL area.Focused on the IT/Telco category and dedicated to delivering the best possible service to our business stakeholders in BNL, you are responsible for meeting the KPI targets set by procurement in your scope (HW , SW and Telco).You will be working with remote back offices located in Poland, the ITT European team and also the Global Procurement team WW, which mean the need for mobility and flexibility.

You will report to the area IT/Telco Procurement Category Manager based in Utrecht.Our global procurement team of circa 450 professionals works across multiple categories and countries. As a part of global procurement, you will be a part of that story, participating in bids and ongoing business for our internal and external clients - leveraging our alliances and vendors. Your role will include: Business partnering for local deal and account teamsContributing to the global sourcing strategies in your category perimeter (HW, SW or Telco)Aligning with the strategy and objectives of the area Business Leaders and Global Procurement, ensuring Group standards, policies, practices and processes are adhered toVendor local management and contract negotiationsDelivering savings (P&L, cashback and cost avoidance) to the area

Business in order to meet or exceed targetsContributing to analysing procurement related data, creating, maintaining reports and management presentationsContributing to the improvement and development of procurement specific processes and tools aligned with our global approachYour profileWe are looking for someone with appr. 2-3 years of experience in IT and Telco sourcing and procurement with: Good leadership skillsAbility to track record of delivering savings, whilst also understanding the value of quality and service provisionGood negotiation skills – knowledge of strategies and approachesContract knowledge – e.g. implementing, reviewing, flow downs, contract changes, novations, terminationsFinancial and commercial understandingVery good communication and networking skills and the capability to work effectively as either an individual or as part of a team in a matrix environment.Good problem solving skills and can-do attitudeStrong influencing skills to use both a facilitative and directive approach to “sell” method to internal clients and negotiate with suppliersThe capability to adapt to fast changing schedules and prioritiesExcellent communication in
