Job description

Cleans, distributes stocks and does routine maintenance for the food & beverage department.

Responsibilities

Checks and empties all trash left in food service facility. Mop, sweep and clean all concession and bar areas, and other assigned areas. Fills as ice bins at each concession and bar area. Distributes product to all concession and bar areas as instructed. Receives and stores all deliveries through the wine room and commissary. Turns on draft beer system daily. Cleans and does routine maintenance of all equipment. Will abide by all safety requirements as outlined in the Safety Manual or as required by individual departments and/or job functions.

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older. Proficient in English verbal and written. Less than a high school education; or up to one-month related experience; or equivalent combination of experience and education. Must have an outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude. Must be comfortable initiating conversations and a fun environment for guests. Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays if applicable. Must be able to occasionally lift and/ or move up to 100 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required with this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to use hands, finger, handle or feel. Reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guest and employee conflicts. Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period. Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period.

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Able to write simple correspondence. Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Promote a positive influence in the company and company sponsored events. Maintain a professional work environment with management and staff.
