Job description

Understands and responds to internal guests needs. Communicates in a friendly, respectful and understandable manner. Meets expected service delivery times as defined by department’s service standards or as required by receiver of service or goods. Responsibilities

Responsible for the fast and clean servicing of all menu items to the restaurant service persons and for seeing that each order that is sent out is uniform.

Controls food production to include: proper cooking methods; proper cooking times and temperatures; insures sanitation, handling and storage of prepared foods and leftovers. Prepares for a rush period of work without getting behind. Performs related duties as requested or required.

Qualifications

Open/Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques. Six‑Months experience as a cook's helper preferred. Must be familiar with all phases and operations of the kitchen.
