Job description

Coordinates activities of dining room personnel to provide fast and courteous service to patrons.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the initial reception to all guests upon arrival. Verifies reservations, when required, before seating guests. Escorts guests to the table and provides food and wine menus. Seats all stations in order or rotation to ensure fairness and maximum service to guests. Coordinates with servers and bussers to assure availability of tables for our guests. Inspects podium for cleanliness, organization, and par levels of all supplies to be used during the course of the shift.

Inspects and wipes down all menus at the end of each shift and replaces the inserts when necessary. Works well with other restaurant employees to promote teamwork oriented atmosphere. Works closely with Casino and Slot Hosts to ensure excellent guest service.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned desk area. Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including a 10 key adding machine, PC computers, fax machine, and photocopier. Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
