Host/Cashier- Cafe Central

Job description

Welcomes guests, seat them at tables or lounge and help to ensure quality and service courteously greet all guests and perform cashier transactions accurately and according to the Company policy.

Responsibilities

Commitment to delivering excellent customer service

• Greet guests in a timely manner
• Provide guests with menus Assign guests to tables
• Ensure that dining and serving areas are clean and properly set-up
• Receive and record guest reservations Settle all customer checks in the system accurately Speak to guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service Exemplify our core values, family style service, our mission and vision Exemplify our DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) culture
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Read, write, and communicate verbally in English High School diploma or equivalent

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to stand for long periods of time Repetitive lifting of up to 15 lbs. Frequent walking Work area is subject to variable temperatures May be subject to smoking environment and moderate noise GUEST SERVICE (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL)

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech – both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
