SCADA IT Engineer

Job description

Reporting to the SCADA Manager, the SCADA/Controls Engineer is responsible for the reliability, configuration and maintenance of the SCADA system and its related hardware and applications. This role will require travel to various locations and the incumbent will be expected to live within a reasonable travel time of one regional asset. The incumbent will support field staff using SCADA at various power plants in the PJM/ROC region of the US Hydro Operations by maintaining and upgrading existing equipment.

Additionally, the SCADA Technician is expected to interface with other workgroups, including their counterparts at the Nation System Control Center to ensure system reliability and maintain uptime of the facilities.
