Repower Outage Supervisor

Job description

Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Repower Outage Supervisor will provide technical, administrative, and supervisory support to the Asset team and operations on maintenance, capital and ROI projects. The Repower Outage Supervisor is responsible for development of the scope of mechanical work to be done during periodic rehabilitation of hydro turbines, and the implementation and support of construction project plans utilizing internal resources and third-party contractors.

The work involves reverse engineering of legacy equipment, oversight of design and calculations to specify or fabricate replacement equipment, and good working knowledge of legacy and modern materials and fabrication techniques.
