Commercial Finance Manager FUNCTION: Finance CITY & COUNTRY: Seoul, South Korea

ROLE SUMMARY

What are the key objectives and expectations from this role? Commercial Finance Manager is, as part of the commercial teams, seen to be a valued business partner, through the provision of proactive, innovative and actionable commercial insights, whilst displaying strong leadership and passion in providing business decision support especially by leading the development of strong commercial awareness. What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?

Reports to Sr. Commercial Finance Manager Number of Direct Reports - Core Relationships Internal Business unit managers: Credible and strong working relationship.

Act as trusted business advisor Financial Control

Collaborate to provide end-to-end finance delivery for end-market Finance Shared Services Centre: Collaborate closely with Finance Shared Services Centres to provide high-quality, timely management information to the business External External Service Providers (e.g. Suppliers/Agencies, etc.): Maintain supplier relationship Government/Regulatory bodies: maintaining on-going relationship and dialogue Geographic Scope Local Travel Required N/A

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Ensure development and implementation of an effective information management and sound control environment
• Drive business result through EMF processes by providing relevant commercial and financial insights
• Ensure financial/business aspects involved in marketing decision making process as well as marketing aspects in financial decision-making process
• Ensure rigorous and proactive financial insights are provided to achieve optimal resources allocation based on portfolio alignment, effectiveness of spend and long-term brand equity building, etc.
• Ensure all resources are allocated according to business key priorities and resource availability
• Drive on-going, cross-functional interfaces with key stakeholders across the business
• Ensures innovative ways of working to be adopted such as inventing creative analysis frameworks, automating manual works, eliminating redundant/no-value-added works to increase company’s overall effectiveness and efficiency
• Ensures opportunities identified and fulfilled for the improvement of Marketing and Finance processes, information systems, and procedures in line with business development EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

ESSENTIAL Experience

Required 5-7 years’ experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment Experience dealing with external stakeholders Broad experience in large global organisation with in-depth knowledge in specific FMCG process areas Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required Thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, i.e. SAP/HFM/BI/BCP Strong influencing, leadership and interpersonal skills Experience in strategic analysis & planning and execution, performance metrics, project evaluation and commercial acumen Ability to simplify complex situations and synthesise, communicate, and present complex information Insightful, comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, pro-active, collaborative, and consultative Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required A degree educated with professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MBA) What we offer you?
