Responsibilities

Our Legal internship is designed to give you hands-on experience, professional development opportunities, and meaningful connections that will help shape your future career.

As a legal Intern you will: Assist with “playbooks”, “process maps” - departmental procedures. Assist with the legal software updates, roll outs and implementation. Work with Provider Enrollment to follow-up on any outstanding Medicare and/or Medicaid enrollments and revalidations. Support licensing with Fed Ex overnights and mailings. Assist licensing on follow-up information needed from operations (i.e., pending renewals).

From day one, you'll engage in interactive workshops, networking events, and leadership discussions that provide insight into the industry. You'll collaborate with peers, work on real-world projects, and gain exposure to different departments to broaden your skill set. Throughout the program, there will be opportunities to connect with mentors and showcase your work in a final project. By the end of your internship, you’ll walk away with valuable experience, a strong professional network, and a deeper understanding of your career path.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field Self-driven and detail-oriented Team player with strong collaboration skills Capable of managing time and tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills — both written and verbal Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) Passionate about the healthcare industry and eager to learn About our Line of Business BrightSpring Health Services provides complementary home- and community-based health solutions for complex populations in need of specialized and/or chronic care.
