• Assist patients in exercise, ambulation, functional activities, and the application/use of assistive devices in accordance with the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist Assist Physical Therapist in the collection of outcome measures and completion of complex treatment procedures
• Educate patients, families, and other health workers on selected procedures and functional activities as directed by Physical Therapist
• Participate in ongoing program evaluation and development
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all care provided
• Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to the APTA Practice
• Act and Code of Ethics

Additional Job Information Degree from a certified physical therapy assistant training program Current Physical Therapist Assistant certification and license to practice in state of application

• Minimum of 1 year experience preferred, related to treatment of complex neurological injuries
• Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques Current CPR certification
