Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, equipment, and floors, in accordance with health and safety regulations Wash, sanitize, and properly store kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishware
• Manage kitchen waste disposal and recycling procedures in compliance with facility standards
• Perform routine maintenance checks on kitchen equipment and report any issues to management
• Assist with food preparation areas and ensure proper organization of kitchen supplies and inventory
• Support kitchen staff by maintaining an organized and efficient work environment
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Respond promptly to requests from kitchen and dining service staff
• Maintain personal hygiene and wear appropriate protective equipment at all times
• Contribute to a positive team environment and support operational excellence

Qualifications

Qualifications

Experience in kitchen sanitation, dishwashing, or food service support

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene protocols and health code regulations
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly Physical capability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Adhere to all facility safety standards and procedures Experience with commercial kitchen equipment and machinery Previous experience in a high-volume food service operation
