Engineering Technician, Junior The Opportunity

Support the assembly and fabrication of electrical, electronic, or mechanical components and equipment. Assist in maintaining mechanical machinery, calibration equipment, power tools, and basic electronic tooling. Apply foundational technical knowledge and follow established procedures. Solve routine problems with direction from senior technicians and engineers and grow your skills through hands‑on work.

You Have

Experience as an engineering technician or in a technical apprenticeship

• Knowledge of basic shop safety and proper usage of hand tools and powered hand tools
• Ability to support simple munition or mechanical assemblies, including basic disassembly and reassembly following technical guidance
• Ability to assist with system testing activities by preparing test setups and documenting results
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have: Experience in prototyping or basic electrical systems
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Secret clearance Completion of a technical school, trade school, or relevant armed services technical curriculum Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $53,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
