Augmented Reality Software Engineer The Opportunity

Develop and debug Virtual Reality ( VR ) and Augmented Reality ( AR ) sof tware or applications for various devices. Apply advanced skills or extensive technical expertise, including full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members.

You Have

• 3+ years of experience with sof tware development or research in industry settings
• 1+ years of experience with Unity3D in a professional environment
• 1+ years of experience developing features within VR, AR, or 3D real-time interactive products in industry settings Experience with programming languages such as C# or C++ Knowledge of interfaces, abstracting, inheritance, and polymorphism
• Ability to solve problems effectively and work independently and collaboratively
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in STEM Nice If You Have: Experience developing SDKs or shared technology that enhances extensibility and reuse Experience building for VR, including Quest or VIVE, or mixed or AR, including HoloLens, Magic Leap, ARKit, or ARCore Experience with performance optimization of real-time applications, including CPU, GPU, or Memory Experience with ArcGIS and Cesium
• Knowledge of MVVM architecture
• Knowledge of real-time engine components, including rendering, input processing, serialization, UI, or networking
• Knowledge of 3D math, linear algebra, and data structures Possession of excellent communication and interpersonal skills Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
