DevOps Engineer The Opportunity

As a DevOps engineer, you’re eager to develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets your client’s needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. We need you to develop container management software to solve some of our clients’ toughest challenges. As a senior platform DevOps Engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change.

On our team, you’ll hone your skills using the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client’s environment with current container software to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your DevOps platform experience, you’ll support your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process. You’ll recommend resources that will help your client manage and securely adopt containers.

You Have

• 5+ years of experience with DevOps engineering Experience maintaining Git-based change control for infrastructure and system configuration Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment, validation, testing, and release control
• Knowledge of Python, Ansible, or Terraform to build and maintain systems and Red Hat Linux Server Management
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and cloud technologies TS/SCI clearance HS diploma or GED CompTIA Security+ CE Certification Nice If You Have: Experience creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks Experience with High Performance Compute (HPC) infrastructure Experience working with applications, including Git, GitLab, Terraform, OpenTofu, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Helm Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field AWS DevOps Engineer, AWS SysOps Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer, or Red Hat Certified Engineer Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
