You Have

Experience working in hardware design, prototyping, 3D modeling and computer-aided drafting ( CAD ) in an internship, school projects, or in a professional work environment

• Knowledge of basic engineering and physics principles as they apply to hardware design and product develop ment
• Knowledge of manufacturing technologies and approaches, including additive and subtractive manufacturing techniques
• Ability to develop technical documentation, including 2D technical drawings and written technical documentation
• Ability to collaborate with an integrated product team, including a variety of technical and non-technical teammates
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Nice If You Have: Experience with prototyping and integration related to electromechanical or military systems Experience with finite element analysis ( FEA ) or modeling and simulation activities Experience with other engineering sof tware, including MATLAB, Mathcad, or multiphysics sof tware Experience with lab-based develop mental testing and test data acquisition
• Knowledge of product design for manufacturability, reliability, maintainability, injection molding, ruggedization, and extreme environments Secret clearance
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information .

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
