In this role, you will: Contribute to critical projects that directly impact Priceline's business strategy. Accelerate your productivity by utilizing cutting-edge Generative AI tools like Gemini and Cursor. Develop high-performance, cloud-native applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka. Build low-latency, high-throughput transactional services supported by CI/CD pipelines. Utilize SQL to collect and query data for investigation and analysis in real-time.

Leverage observability tools like Splunk and New Relic to monitor trends and troubleshoot applications. Work within a cross-functional Agile team focused on continuous experimentation and delivery. Deeply understand the codebase and business needs to effectively implement application changes. Engage in open collaboration, offering technical solutions and participating in constructive team decision-making.

Who you are

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of experience in software engineering and development. Expertise in Core Java and Spring Boot for building high-performance applications. Thorough SQL composition skills for querying and analysis. Experience with observability platforms (e.g., Splunk, New Relic) to troubleshoot and optimize performance. Familiarity with event-streaming platforms like Kafka.

Openness to utilizing modern GenAI tools (e.g., Gemini, Cursor) to enhance productivity. Proficiency in version control best practices using Git and Gitflow. Experience in Microservices, Kubernetes, and Docker is a big positive. Experience with developing on Cloud, especially GCP and AWS. Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability, and Trust.
