Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Tireman I (Tech 4) in our Underground Maintenance department. Responsibilities and Qualifications

Demonstrates safe and environmentally sound work practices. Works as a team member. Self-motivated Ability to work independently and stay on task. Works effectively with other departments. Respects others’ work styles and ideas. Actively pursues development of self and others. Offers constructive solutions to problems and issues. Perform basic electrical trouble shooting. Ability to run a test light or multimeter Perform basic light vehicle maintenance.

Install brake and front-end components. Diagnose and repair TPMS systems. Dismount, mount, and balance light vehicle tires. Replace U-joints and drivelines. Replace alternator and fan belts. Equipment operation Ability to operate boom truck. OTR Tire experience + 3 years required surface or underground Ability to dismount and mount single and multi-piece wheels. Ability to recognize damaged or worn-out wheel components. Knowledge of tire classification, ability to identify basic markings on sidewalls: tire size, serial numbers etc.

Ability to operate all hand tools associated with changing OTR tires. Ability to safely dismount and mount OTR tires. Qualified candidates who meet the required experience and technical criteria may be eligible for relocation assistance (for out-of-area hires) and/or a sign-on bonus upon joining Nevada Gold Mines.
