Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Radio Maintenance Technicians at our Cortez operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all 2-way, dispatch and communication equipment on site.

Responsibilities

Carry out maintenance activities assigned by the Site Services Supervisor in accordance with safe work procedures and workshop standards. Identify and resolve issues associated with breakdown/corrective maintenance in a timely manner. Complete all services and other job-related paperwork to a high standard. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience in troubleshooting, installation and repair of vhf, uhf radio systems, wireless networking systems to component level preferred

• Familiarity with basic network concepts (TCP/IP, Subnets, IP) preferred Mechanical or electrical trades experience in a mining or manufacturing environment preferred
• Proven organizational and computer skills preferred Electronics background preferred
• Must be a self-starter with ability to follow direction required
• Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment required Good communications skills required
