Define customer challenges and provide technical support to resolve issues, enabling customers to maximize the performance and utilization of ASML products while ensuring customer satisfaction. Support customers in the effective application and optimization of ASML imaging solutions. Provide technical customer support, including application consulting, technical knowledge sharing, escalation management, and support for new product introductions and evaluations as an Imaging Competency Engineer.

Identify and quantify customer imaging issues, define root causes, and recommend solutions to optimize scanner output performance through cross-functional collaboration. Lead and coordinate sustaining escalation activities with stakeholders across multiple organizations to ensure timely issue resolution. Document and communicate the value and performance benefits of new imaging products through evaluation reports and customer qualification activities.

Ensure effective technical communication and coordination among customers, local organizations, and VHV development teams.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Physics, Optics, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience

2–5 years of relevant work experience in the semiconductor or related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications

Basic knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment, particularly photolithography. Education, training, or hands-on experience in semiconductor lithography, imaging, process, or application engineering. Experience in technical troubleshooting, data analysis, or root cause investigation is a plus. Experience working with customers and cross-functional or global teams is a plus. Personal skills Customer-focused with a strong sense of ownership.

Analytical and structured problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn. Able to participate in technical discussions in English. Comfortable working in a dynamic and multicultural environment. This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
