The Custodian/Janitor position at Herb Chambers is a cleaning and facility-maintenance job. The exact duties can vary depending on the dealership or facility where the position is located.

Typical job duties Cleaning and sanitation

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors, offices, restrooms, and common areas.

Trash removal

Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly.

Dealership maintenance

Keep customer waiting areas, showrooms, service departments, and employee areas clean and presentable.

Restroom upkeep

Refill soap, paper towels, and other supplies.

Safety

Report spills, hazards, maintenance issues, or damaged equipment.

Supplies and equipment

Use cleaning products and equipment safely and maintain cleaning supplies.

Other duties
