At Aristocrat, we dedicate ourselves to bringing happiness to life through play. Our mission, culture, and impact are fueled by innovation, teamwork, and a passion for excellence. As a Senior Category Manager – Logistics & Supply Chain, you will be central to shaping our global sourcing approach and enhancing value across logistics and supply chain services. This role provides an excellent chance to lead major projects in freight, warehousing, courier, customs, MRO, and transportation categories.
You will work closely with senior business leaders across various regions. If you want to make a meaningful difference and join a world-class team, this position is ideal for you!
What You'll Do
Develop and take full responsibility for the comprehensive global category strategy for Logistics and Supply Chain Services, including freight, warehousing, courier, customs, MRO, and transportation. Establish multi-year sourcing roadmaps aligned with business priorities, financial targets, operational requirements, risk, and compliance. Lead high-value, complex sourcing initiatives globally, determining negotiation strategies, supplier evaluation criteria, and commercial frameworks.
Structure and negotiate strategic supplier agreements to optimize cost, service, reliability, risk, and long-term value. Own the global supplier landscape and category strategy, establishing supplier segmentation, governance models, and preferred supplier frameworks. Lead senior-level supplier engagements to influence outcomes, resolve complex issues, and drive continuous improvement. Partner directly with senior leadership across Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and business teams.
Act as a reliable consultant on logistics sourcing approach, supplier capacity, cost reduction, service quality, and risk management. Employ analytics, market intelligence, and digital/AI tools to increase cost efficiency, elevate supplier performance, and pinpoint strategic opportunities. Influence procurement policies, category strategies, and governance frameworks to ensure alignment with risk, compliance, sustainability, and operational standards.
Drive category-level transformation initiatives, including supplier consolidation, tender strategy, automation, improved reporting, and process improvements. Establish and track category performance measures, including cost, savings, service levels, reliability, lead times, supplier performance, and risk indicators. Mentor and support less experienced procurement and category team members by sharing category expertise, standard processes, and commercial mentorship.
What We're Looking For
10+ years in strategic sourcing, category management, logistics, supply chain, or a related commercial field. Proven ability to develop and complete global or multi-region category strategies for logistics, freight, warehousing, transportation, customs, or broader supply chain services. Experience leading complex, high-value negotiations with logistics providers, freight forwarders, warehouse partners, transportation suppliers, or other strategic service providers.
Strong capability to influence senior collaborators and align cross-functional partners across regions and business priorities. Global or matrixed organization experience is preferred. Exposure to transformation, supplier consolidation, operating model redesign, or logistics network optimization. Strong understanding of logistics cost drivers, supplier markets, service models, contract structures, risk management, and performance governance.
Enterprise outlook and strategic problem-solving capability. High ownership and accountability, with the ability to operate autonomously and make sound recommendations on complex supplier and commercial decisions. Ability to drive transformation and measurable outcomes across cost, service, supplier performance, risk, and operational efficiency. Join us and engage with an ambitious group committed to perfect delivery and outstanding performance.
