iPhone is the most popular camera in the world, and the Edit Foundation team is focused on integrating the features and algorithms that turn what it captures into something extraordinary. We bring together computer vision, image processing, and machine learning into the exciting experiences that define digital photography today — Cinematic HDR video, Photographic Styles, and generative editing in the Photos app, as featured in multiple keynotes at WWDC.

We build the frameworks and core layers that power these experiences — the abstractions the rest of Photos, and teams beyond it, build on — while integrating new algorithms, from classical image processing to on-device ML and generative models, to define what comes next. You'll have real ownership over how these features and algorithms come together into a coherent, best-in-class experience. Our software runs on every iPhone shipped — we're looking for engineers who want that scale of impact.
