Job description

Why Apple? Apple is where individuals with great imagination gather together, committing to the values that lead to great work. Every new product we build is the result of us making each other’s ideas stronger. That happens because every one of us shares a belief that we can make something wonderful and share it with the world, changing lives for the better. It’s the diversity of our people and their thinking that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do.

When we bring everybody in, we can do the best work of our lives. Why Softgoods Magnet Team? The Softgoods Magnet PD team designs magnets for iPad, AirPods, MacBook, and many other Apple products and accessories. Our mission is to design the innovative magnetic circuits in Apple products to deliver magic and delightful experiences to our customers. We have a hardworking team of people from a wide variety of backgrounds.

In this role you will assist the magnet design effort associated with creating world-class products for Apple. Responsibilities will include working closely with product design, manufacturing, test engineering, electrical engineering, reliability, and compliance. You will design and implement magnet systems in our products, with emphasis on practical and clever solutions. You will resolve technical issues that arise in the design of these products and be expected to follow the product from concept, through development, and into ramp.

International travel will be required. If this sounds like an exciting challenge, we hope you will consider a place in our team!
