Job description

The Challenge To control and supervise the Metallurgical Treatment or Recovery Plant section, in accordance with his/her level of training and qualifying in a specific Operator Category (i.e.. Scrubber/Crushing, Outside or Inside), to achieve maximum efficient throughput and to minimize delays and losses.

Qualifications

The ideal applicant Grade 12 or Equivalent National Senior Certificate (20 points over 5 subjects with a E in English, Mathematics & Science) Code 08/B Driver’s License. (Manual Transmission) Qualified Category 3 Operator. Experience gained through training and exposure to treatment plant processes at the Plant Operator 1-3 level. One year plant experience as a Category 2 Operator. Attended DebTech X-Ray machine training will be an advantage.

Process Controller (acting) will be an advantage. Excellent safety awareness and good track record.
