ABOUT THE ROLE

The Machince Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by operating the pour table and laminator to ensure the production of high-quality products that meet company standards. This position is responsible for verifying that product run information is accurate prior to production and monitoring key operational metrics throughout the manufacturing process. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH Check the status of equipment in the production operating system.

Responsible for preparing each run according to the daily production schedule. Validating batch information and set up. Monitors each run for quality and efficiency e.g., wet density and line speed. Adjusts equipment settings based on quality control feedback. Capturing production run information (chemical used, downtime, and scrap reporting) and inputting data into the production data base. Maintains the hour by hour board.

Maintain the 5 S posture of the A-Operator area. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Education: High School Diploma or or 1-2 year vocational training/associates degree Strong Math Skills Data Entry Experience Forklift certified Safety conscious mindset Basic maintenance skills Basic computer skills Additional Requirements: The working conditions include an indoor dusty non-air-conditioned industrial manufacturing and warehouse environment. Subject to temperatures that range from 65 to 90 degrees in the general working environment and hotter in certain areas of the plant.

Occasional outdoor activities in hot or adverse weather. Twenty-four hour working environment with multiple shifts and varying schedules. This position requires standing for the majority of the shift. Bending, reaching, twisting It also requires occasional operation of a forklift. Must be able to lift up 50 pounds.
