Job description

Amazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented attorney to support Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS is at the forefront of the cloud computing industry, providing IT infrastructure services such as on-demand compute capacity, storage, content delivery, database services, and more. AWS also offers a comprehensive suite of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) services, infrastructure, and tools to help users build, train, and deploy AI models.

Key job responsibilities

This Associate Corporate Counsel will be based in Singapore and will primarily support AWS’s Sales and Marketing activities across ASEAN and the broader Asia-Pacific region.

A day in the life

You will negotiate strategic enterprise agreements with a focus on ASEAN customers and resellers, provide compliance training and awareness, handle pre-litigation disputes and inquiries, assist with responses to bid proposals/tenders, and work proactively on regulatory and policy matters. Typical transactions will range from enterprise contracts to complex, high-dollar-value strategic procurement vehicles. International travel may be required.

About the team

We don’t expect you to have experience in data centers or cloud computing, and we are looking for candidates who are eager to learn and develop as part of our team. Members of our team are enthusiastic, curious, proactive, humble, and collaborative, enjoy being challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
