Job description

Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable broadband connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From households to small businesses, schools, hospitals, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve communities and organizations operating in places without dependable internet access.

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager with direct experience in mechanical systems and mechanisms development to join the Leo team. You’ll play a central role in this ambitious mission, architecting the systems that will connect millions to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical execution, as you guide the development, integration, and testing of satellite mechanical systems.

We're looking for a bold innovator who thrives on solving unprecedented challenges at a global scale. You'll collaborate with world-class teams across Amazon, making decisions that will shape the future of global connectivity. While the problems are complex and the territory uncharted, the impact is clear: your work will help transform lives. The scale is massive, the challenges are unique, and the potential to make a difference is unlimited.

If you're ready to help write the next chapter in connecting the world, we want to hear from you.

* Communicate program plans, status, and critical issues clearly to executive leadership; escalate and drive urgent issues to timely closure; lead postmortem reviews and implement continuous improvement actions.

* Align design teams to program milestones and convene the right technical expertise to unblock issues.

* Support vendor management and delivery tracking.
