As the Technical Lead Manager (TLM) for the Extraction Service, you will lead the engineering team responsible for extracting high-fidelity, structural content from inputs with lossless precision. In the AI era, downstream LLM reasoning and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) are only as good as the underlying data ingestion. The Extraction Service is a foundational, standalone building block that powers critical workflows across Google by converting unstructured, multi-modal documents (PDFs, Office formats like DocX/PPTX, tabular data, XML/EPUB, markup, images, audio, and video) into rich, structured semantic representations.
