EHS Construction Program Manager

Job description

Minimum qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, EHS, Architecture, Construction management, a related field or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in construction EHS. Experience with electrical safety in the workplace (e.g., US NFPA 70E).

Preferred qualifications

Certification in EHS at a local or regional level. Knowledge of data center structural, electrical, mechanical and controls equipment. Knowledge of operational metrics reporting. Ability to read and interpret plans and print. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. In this role, you will support the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) electrical safety program for the data centers and technical infrastructure assets. You will be responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing execution of the Global EHS electrical safety program, ensuring conformance with Google Cloud's EHS expectations and ensuring compliance with EHS regulations, minimizing risk, and promoting a culture of EHS excellence.
