Minimum qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, Supply Chain, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in sourcing, commodity management, supplier engineering, manufacturing engineering, supply chain, or a related hardware function. Experience sourcing and managing hardware components, assemblies, or manufacturing processes, and experience evaluating supplier technical and manufacturing capabilities.

Preferred qualifications

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, Supply Chain, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience leading supplier selection, RFQ/RFP processes, cost analysis, commercial negotiations, and supplier development across the hardware product lifecycle. Experience partnering with engineering and manufacturing teams during product development, NPI, supplier qualification, and production ramp.

As a Strategic Sourcing Engineer, you will execute sourcing strategies for critical hardware commodities supporting development and scale-up. Embedded closely with Engineering, you will combine technical understanding, supply chain expertise, and commercial judgment to influence design decisions and build resilient supply chains. You will own assigned hardware commodities end-to-end, managing supply risks and enabling rapid prototyping and design iteration alongside production-ready execution.
