As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward. The mission of the Data Protection Understanding engineering team is to provide Google with technical solutions for making AI development in the company faster and safer, and also enable large-scale adoption of these solutions, via infra and automation.

Applied Lineage - CFG team's mission is to build tools that empower teams with high-fidelity, distilled data lineage graphs that accurately represent data lineage and dependencies across Google's systems to enable policy enforcement, privacy compliance, and data governance. This allows product teams to focus on building their products, while the data protection and regulatory compliance is taken care of for them. The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products.
