Within DCID, the Data Center Market Development (DCMD) organization leverages market analysis, public policy, partnerships, and economic development expertise to deliver data center capacity. The Economic Development team strategically structures incentives and community agreements to ensure Google's infrastructure investments are economically viable, resilient, and mutually beneficial.

As a Strategic Negotiator on the Economic Development team, you will play a pivotal role in expanding and scaling Google’s global technical infrastructure. Our team secures the statutory incentives, tax agreements, and community partnerships required to develop and operate sustainable data centers globally. In this role, you will lead high-complexity economic development workstreams conducting statutory due diligence, structuring durable incentive packages, and negotiating multi-party agreements.

You will collaborate cross-functionally and partner with external public stakeholders to mitigate operational risk, optimize total cost of ownership (TCO), and build long-term value for host communities.
