Minimum qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering Management or a related field and 8 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineering-related occupation. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering Management or a related field, and 6 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineering-related occupation.

Position requires 6 years of experience in the following: Programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin, or Go to design, write, test, and maintain software applications; Design of algorithms and data structures to improve product scale, speed, efficiency, and reliability; Systems architecture application to optimize system testability, performance, reliability, and cost; Debugging to diagnose, triage, and fix system issues via root cause analysis; and Risk management to anticipate and assess operational, compliance, product, or program risks.

About the job The US base salary range for this full-time position is $207,000 - $301,000 + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google .
