Minimum qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience. 15 years of professional software engineering experience. 10 years of experience as an engineering leader. Experience as an infrastructure engineering leader, specifically running large-scale data warehouses, data processing systems, or enterprise analytics platforms.

Preferred qualifications

Experience building systems that comply with complex global regulatory, privacy, and data governance standards. Deep understanding of the intersection between data infrastructure, data science, and advanced analytics. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align disparate teams around a unified technical vision. We are seeking an experienced infrastructure leader to serve as the Director of Software Engineering for the Search Logging Platform and Data Warehouse. In this critical role, you will own the end-to-end strategy, architecture, and execution of the massive-scale systems that process, store, and serve Search logging data. You will act as a pivotal change-agent, ensuring our data platforms seamlessly adapt to rapid product changes, new partnerships, and an increasingly complex regulatory landscape.

As a cross-functional leader, you will partner closely with product teams, data science, and compliance to ensure our data infrastructure empowers innovation while maintaining the highest standards of governance.
