Job description

Minimum qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience in program management. Experience in capacity planning. Experience with display ads. About the job A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish.

You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. Our team covers the App Ads, Google Display Ads and Display technical Infrastructure teams.

The team is responsible for managing predictable programs for Display and App Ads, ensuring low-friction execution, efficiently managing resources and investments, and helping teams plan for the future. In this role, you will help in driving the governance, operations, and optimization of infrastructure capacity. You will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient allocation, utilization, and agile redistribution of scarce compute units/ML resources (accelerators and auxiliary infrastructure) across all Display teams.

Google Ads is at the forefront of AI innovation, applying cutting-edge machine learning and Generative AI models like Gemini to power a multi-billion dollar global business. Our work directly impacts billions of users by protecting users from harm, improving ad quality, and optimizing campaigns for advertiser return-on-investment. We foster a culture of deep collaboration, partnering closely with teams like Google Research and DeepMind to solve complex challenges.

Join us to work on state-of-the-art AI, take on problems at an unparalleled scale, and build the next generation of advertising technology. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
