Minimum qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in product design or UX. 5 years of experience leading design projects and managing people or teams. 3 years of experience designing for consumer products. Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Preferred qualifications

Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 7 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization. Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of designers, researchers, engineers, content strategists and product managers. Experience designing for native mobile applications including across a variety of device types.

Experience owning or strongly contributing to a design system. Experience designing end-to-end features and shepherding that work through the full lifecycle of design from kickoff through implementation as both an Executive level IC and as a front line manager. We are seeking a Senior UX Manager to shape the core consumer experience and enterprise messaging initiatives powered by Rich Communication Services (RCS) for Business.

In this role, you will partner closely with Product Management and Engineering leadership to deliver intuitive solutions for users and global partners as we expand the RCS ecosystem, advocating craft excellence and the elevated design standards that define Android’s premium offerings. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
