About the job A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.
You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. The Payments Platform team is the financial backbone of Google, responsible for moving more than $150B across 236+ countries. We support strategic growth for 100+ product teams, including Play, YouTube, Cloud and Ads, by building the front-end user flows, backend systems, and billing tools necessary to enable global payments.
Our core mission is to facilitate seamless customer transactions and business growth, while ensuring compliance with global government regulations. This Technical Program Manager will support critical projects and programs across the 4Cs team (Charging, Credit, Collections and Cash applications) and Google's financial systems. You will combine deep technical and payment expertise with a powerful understanding of these clients’ needs to help them meet their business goals and drive Google growth.
