About the job Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the unique engineering challenges we face daily.
As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. As a Technical Program Manager for Model Launches, you will drive serving readiness and execution for Google's newest Gemini and GenMedia models. In this 6-month fixed-term contract (FTC) role, you will act as the platform launch lead across the GenAI serving stack.
You will own the end-to-end launch lifecycle from intake and workback planning through private preview, early access, and general availability. Sit at the intersection of model research, platform engineering, SRE, and product areas, you will ensure multimodal and LLM launches land smoothly on schedule. You will orchestrate readiness checklists, quota/QPS planning, bug triage, and launch war rooms to support rapid release timelines across global time zones.
